The microplastics found in traditional plastic packaging has caused a
wave of pollution that is causing extensive damage to the world around us.

Deforestation and plastics cause climate change and the climate impacts on human health sensing that more frequent, severe, and longer climate changes are happening around us today.
This is not a story of today. The climate change will be a threat to the next generation.
Governments act swiftly or enact new legislation to the solutions for climate change

More and more countries have started a net zero carbon goal, and ESG factors plays an increasingly important role in companies' value.

However, it is not yet fully grasped the risks associated with climate change.
In most cases, solutions may be available in the short-term, but more realistic picture and long-term measures may be ultimately required.
From now on, we need to start an action plan and execute it systematically.
The E.U. and U.S. may and is considering imposing a carbon border tax that will be imposed on imports of carbon-intensive goods to help slow climate.
Countries that emit a lot of carbon will create a tax barrier on the product.
Low-carbon economy is quickly coming to us. The characteristics of low-carbon economy are low energy consumption, low pollution and low Now, low-carbon products slowly transition to a low-carbon era.

President Joe Biden declared by executive order “that climate considerations shall be an essential element of United States foreign policy and national security”.
Even China has also declared carbon neutral by 2060.
Considering China as the biggest emitter of carbon dioxide, this is a very challenging goal.
I believe resolving environmental problems starts with corporate social responsibility.

Companies shouldn't be only responsible for when a product is made, but even after the product is thrown away, companies should take responsibility for waste.
When the discarded resources are reused as a new resource, it is the most effective way we can save natural resources, protect the environment and save money.
Businesses can produce waste, sell them and make profits. However, they are the ones to take the lead in solving the waste problems.

Marine Innovation wants to do something about it and in order to solve it, it has taken a decade to do the research on raw materials.
As a result, we have developed greener alternatives to plastics and wood with seaweed, which is eco-friendly sustainable material.

I realized somebody had to do something about it to solve from raw materials.
Marine Innovation found the solution with green sustainable natural materials.
What we look at through is eco-friendly material found in sea.
That raw material must be sustainable, easy accessible and must proliferate.
Last but not least, it must be safe to the environment and human.
This creative and unique seaweed is a promising future for the use as our raw materials.

Not only its use goes beyond just food, but also it's the replacement of wood,
providing a cleaner and better tomorrow for humanity and the environment.
With many sustainable options around, seaweed is the material to beat.

As seaweed grows, it absorbs five times more carbon dioxide than wood, which plays a positive role in protecting the environment. Above all, it can be used as a substitute for wood without destroying the environment.
Marine Innovation has launched products made of seaweed extracts and by-products after decades of research and development. I hope that seaweed in the sea can solve the climate crisis and food crisis that will come to the next generation.
