Biodegradable bioplastics made from
seaweed by-products
Marine Innovation makes 100% eco-friendly bioplastics using seaweed by-products.
100% eco-friendly
Bio-plastic
Marine Innovation is It has an innovative technology to extract bioplastic ingredients from seaweed and vegetable ingredients. The extracted bioplastics can be biodegradable within up to 90 days and can be used in various fields such as plastic bags, coatings, and container manufacturing.

A comparison between
seaweed by-products pulp
and wood pulp
In addition to seaweed, we are developing pulp materials
using various materials such as coconut shells,
rice husks, and beer gourds,
and coffee gourds.
Janoodam is a product line brand
made of eco-friendly
materials including seaweed by-products,
meaning "sharing nature."
The agar is extracted and discarded, and the seaweeds discarded after extracting the agar are used as pulp.
In the case of wood pulp, the strength is low due to the large bonding interval between components, but in the case of seaweed, the bonding interval is small and the strength is excellent.
In addition, wood pulp uses a large amount of harmful chemicals such as chlorine to remove lignin, but seaweed can be made through the complete chlorine-free bleaching process (TCF process), an eco-friendly process.

for the future of humans and the Earth.
One of our recent issues is TIPS (Accelerator Investment-Driven Tech Incubator Program for Startup),
a Korean government initiative to foster growth for innovative tech start-ups. We have been selected to receive TIPS, the government fund. This ecofriendly coating paper cup development will speed up.
